Rare Vintage 1940s Lathin Special Regulator Swiss Watch

Strap: Not orginal Genuine Leather. Serviced by our watch maker properly. Replated recently, keeping good time, working condition. Lathin produced some very nice watches in the 40's and 50's in small quantities.

There is not much information available about the micro-brand; however, while researching, the watches I found were of very high quality like this rarely seen regulator. The Lathin Special is a 17 jeweled manual wind movement with regulator complication. The central hand sweeps seconds at usual, the top register tells the hours while the bottom tells the seconds. This is a fund watch to have because it is such an uncommon complication. The regulator complication was useful in some military applications from what I have read. The dial and crown appear to be original; the dial has not been refinished. An original dial on the piece is rare. The watch runs great, recently serviced and ready to wear or collect.

The watch measures approximately 34mm in diameter and is presented on a good condition vintage calf strap. Time keeping is 15 sec (per day). The watch is a nice look, working and normal condition. All our watch has been tested(service if needed) and working properly and keeping good time. But It may be serviced.

This watch is quarented orginal by our watch company. I do not guarantee time keeping on any of my vintage watches, even if the time keeping is perfect.
