1942 Rare Vintage Oyster Raleigh Military Watch 15 Rubies Swiss Great Britain. Oyster Raleigh Military made by the Rolex Watch Company in 1942 (info may be not accurate as we are not professionals, so please use your knowledge too). The stainless steel Oyster case is all original with a well functioning screw down crown marked Oyster Patent. This vintage watch is in excellent running condition and is beautiful to the eye with the lovely aged patina to the dial.

Watch works smooth and keeping GOOD TIME. The Oyster Raleigh contains a Rolex caliber 59 movements with 15 jewels. The Oyster Raleigh was used by Canadian soldiers going into WW2. These watches were small in size but nonetheless effective during wartime, please see photos for measurements. The dial, as we mentioned is evenly aged with an outer minute track, Arabic numbers, steel pencil hands and a smart looking red sweep seconds hand.
