AERO Watch 60s Vintage Pilots Chronograph Watch Swiss Valjoux 7733 39mm Rare

Up for sale is this rarely seen 1960s vintage AERO Neuchatel Pilots mechanical chronograph wristwatch. It's in good cosmetic and excellent running condition. Large for the era 39 mm diameter all stainless steel case has relatively light wear and tear. The clean black time recording bezel rotates smoothly in either direction. Big round waterproof pushers and winding crown are stainless steel and original.

The original black dial with multicolored scales and registers is in excellent condition. All of the hands are original and are in excellent condition as well with all lume in place. The acrylic crystal is a new replacement. Love that bright orange lollipop main chronograph hand!

The Swiss made Valjoux caliber 7733, 17 jewel mechanical chronograph movement is running strong and keeping excellent time. All functions work well with hands resetting smoothly back to "0".

I don't know its service history. It's fitted with a pre owned stainless steel beads of rice sport bracelet. Will size up to fit a 7 5/8 wrist max. Let me know if you have any questions.
