Aquabyn swiss vintage dive watch/On tropic strap Manual Wind Retro & Rare! Amazing retro Swiss dive watch that must be pretty rare because its difficult to find information on this brand.

The dial reads "Aquabyn skindiver & 5 ATM Unbreakable Mainspring" with a unique tachymeter running around the outside of the hour markers. The watch is swiss made. At 12 and 6 you have applied numbers that look naturally aged with aged sea green lume on sword hands lume that still GLOWS! The friction bezel is in good shape and adds lots of character. Case and crystal are in overall good shape for their age, but please see pictures for more detail as there are signs of wear and scratches that come with time. I put it on a tropic strap (20mm), note the actual lug distance is 19mm, but you can squeeze on your 20mm leather/rubber/canvas/nato.

The watch is probably right around 38/39 mm. I think you will enjoy the mechanical wound seemingly robust movement that has an awesome tactile wind. It is really fun to do every morning and super satisfying! As with most vintage watches, it could probably use a service at some point, but it keeps great time and I have had no issues whatsoever with it. I would be careful around water as most vintage watches lose their waterproof seal over time.
