These are known as the Bulova Royal Oak because of the obvious similarities with the legendary Audemars Piguet. They are not the same quality as the AP of course, but you can get the look for a fraction of the price. They were not produced for long, and the suspicion is that Audemars Piguets lawyers sent a nasty letter asking Bulova to stop making them. The Bulova watch was not designed by Gerald Genta unlike the real Royal Oak, despite lots of claims to the contrary. The movement inside is an ETA 2892, which is still the base model for many fine watches.
It is very thin for an automatic movement, runs at 28,000 bph, and has hacking for precise timekeeping. Being such a widely used movement you can also guarantee future servicing will be easy and affordable. The Bulova Royal Oak has echoed the Audemars Piguet over the past few years in rapidly increased values it is now collectible in its own right. This is the all steel automatic model, which is the most desirable (you can find quartz watches and gold plated bezels versions too). The watch has been serviced early 2020. Please ask for HD video for more detail. All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned. Width with crown 37.2 mm. Width without crown 35.0 mm.
