Rare 70's Antique Vintage Swiss Funky Retro Auto Chunky Watch 25 Jewel Eta 2760
ANOTHER FANTASTIC SUPER FUNKY RARE RETRO WATCH FIND FROM TIMEISPRECIOUS! OFFERED TODAY IS THIS WONDERFUL 70'S MAGNIFICENTLY RETRO AUTOMATIC DAY/DATE WRIST WATCH. 23 YEARS OF SATISFIED CUSTOMERS! This stunning 70's retro vintage watch case is rectangular in appearance with rounded edges. It is a great example of the chunky, garish and outlandish designs of this brilliant era in watch design.
It has a wide stepped bezel and a screw back. The case is in very good condition and shows its originality in the light aged wear to its surfaces with light marks and a few nicks to the edges.
The case front has a polished lustre. 3.4cms (34mm) in width and 4cms (40mm) in length excluding the crown. This is a fantastic case and looks great on the wrist. This is a fantastic dial, again showing 70's design to its best.
Blue in color this dial is in excellent condition. The baton numerals are polished and line both sides of the dial. The steel hands are excellent, as is the centre second hand and all are in lovely condition.
The dial has its day/date windows to the bottom of the dial at 6pm. The white backgrounds and black numerals are also in great condition. The watch is signed'Michael' underneath the twelve and'Swiss made' to the bottom of the dial. The shaped RARE concave plastic crystal is in excellent condition showing only light wear.
The movement to this superb watch is an Automatic 25 jewels ETA 2760. It is in excellent condition and working well. It is unsigned but stamped by ETA under the balance. The movement has been lightly oiled and timed by my watch maker and is running consistently and keeping time to approx.As always a full service would be recommended for optimum performance, continued operation and optimum timekeeping. This is a lovely good grade Swiss movement which powers this lovely watch. This lovely watch has what seems to be its original STEEL SECTIONED GRADUATING BRACELET with a flip up clasp. It is unsigned and has a lightly brushed finish. The bracelet will fit up to a 7 inch wrist comfortably and can be shortened by removing links if required for a smaller wrist.

Vintage watches are not for wearing while doing yard work, working out, or swimming. Vintage watches cannot keep time like their quartz cousins and will need altering on average between +-2 to +-5 mins per day.
They are a little more destructible than modern watches. Vintage watches also require periodic service and cleaning. Every couple of years, they would like their 20,000 mile checkup, oil change, and general service. By taking care of your vintage watch, you will have years of great service, and a quality heirloom to pass to another generation. Please do not waste anyones time if you are not interested.
