RARE Vintage Baumé & Mercier SWISS Hand-Winding Watch 1940's

One side (at the 12 o'clock level) of the case shows this piece was dedicated to a dear one; likely gifted around the year 1977. It's working well and keeping time. The lume on one of the hands is degraded due to age. The genuine leather strap and the crown are not by Baumé & Mercier that's normal for such vintage pieces.
