The stainless steel case is in good external condition for the age, with inconspicuous signs of use in form of few straches. With with black inscriptions, marks and roman numerals is fully preserved. Working smoothly and keeping time accuratelly by automatic mechanism Cal. Date wheel is stuck from some reason. The EB1393 is manufactured by Ebauches Bettlach (EB) Switzerland as 21 Jewels automatic movement from the late 1960's to early 1970's, designed as a durable and dependable mid-grade Swiss caliber.

The EB1393 belongs to the family of robust "working horse" Swiss movements that were widely used by many vintage watch brands of the era. It features automatic winding, Swiss jeweled construction, shock protection system and a relatively simple, service friendly design.
