20 jewels, stop second device, regulator system ETACHRON, shock-absorber device, 40 hours power reserve. Hour, minute, center second, date calendar. Black guilloche with raised silver rim around inner dial. Raised silver roman and arabic numerals. Luminescent dots on inner dial.

Hand-crafted, curved case features nine rectangular see-troughs on the top and bottom and reverse columns on both sides. Stainless steel back displaying the movement through sapphire crystal glass. 48 mm (1.89 in). 35 mm (1.38 in). 8 mm (0.31 in). Double curved scratchproof sapphire crystal glass. 316L stainless steel folding clasp.

NOTE: This listing is for a showroom quality (95% new) item with the serial number 130/516. At the dawn of the third millennium, in the year 2001, Xezo embarked on the daunting task of creating a timepiece accurately reflecting Time itself.

The idea came from observations of ancient classical architecture in general, and in particular the ruins of Erechtheum Temple (on the Acropolis in Greece) finished by 405 B. Its unique plan features three facades at different levels, and is famous for complex, exquisite details; most notably the loveliest Ionic capitals Greece ever produced.

This timepiece mirrors the temple's classical beauty in many crucial ways. Each of the reverse columns on both sides of the hand-crafted case signifies one of the shrine's façades. And the nine rectangular see-troughs-found on the top and bottom of the timepiece-resemble the moldings of the temple's porch supported by ethereal sculpted figures. The curved tank case is topped with double-curved scratch proof sapphire crystal glass and is water-resistant to 165 ft (5 ATM). The master case is machined from a single block of surgical grade 316L stainless steel and houses the accurate, Swiss-made ETA 2000-1 mechanical, automatic-winding movement fitted with a stop second device, and shock absorber.

The ETA 2000-1 automatic movement has 20 jewels and 40 hours power reserve and it is considered a top grade mechanical specialty movement due to its size and intricate extra flat construction.
