This is a great looking 1970's divers watch, Sorna's rarely come up for sale in this sort of condition so it is highly collectable. Case: 44mm in diameter, not including the crowns. The main body of the watch is in fantastic condition with very little plate damage. There are no nasty scratches on the case back.
The inner bezel is rotated by the upper left crown, the mid world time bezel is rotated by the bottom left crown and both work perfectly. The outer bezel is also in good order but it does rotate very easily. That said, it is very securely attached.
Face: The face and hands are in really good condition, almost mint. Movement: The manual wind EB8420 movement stays accurate to within 1 minute when timed over 24 hours.
The upper right pusher starts and stops the chrono, the lower right pusher resets the fly back second hand. It is supposed to reset to 12:00 but comes to rest at about 11:57. This would be an extremely easy fix for some one with minimal watch know how. The minute hand resets ok. I don't know when it was last serviced. Strap: Black leather strap with blue stitching in brand new condition. Apart from the second hand not resetting to zero, this watch isn't a million miles away from condition it left the Sorna factory back in the 70's.Most old Sorna's are either missing parts or are badly damaged. Mine really is in lovely condition, rare to find these days.
