JEWEL GENUINE QUALITY MANS C 1970 GENUINE ORIS STAR CHRONORIS WRISTWATCH IN LOVELY ORIGINAL CONDITION WITH THE RARE DARK BLUE DIAL. THE ORIS COMPETITOR TO THE OMEGA CHRONOSTOP. COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL BOX AND INSTRUCTION OF OPERATION SHEET!

ONLY 27000 OF THESE WERE REPORTEDLY MADE! This is an absolutely beautiful and superb ORIS STAR CHRONORIS wrist watch.

The watch has a stainless screw back case which is in good all round condition showing some light wear marks to the rear fully signed case back. The rest of the case is chromed and shows normal brassing on the edges of the case and on the pushers/winders as you would expect. The case sides are in decent condition showing slight pitting. There is nothing that detriments the watch when on the wrist and in the flesh it looks beautiful!

The case is really well made and measures 3.6cms (36mm) in width excluding the lugs and crowns/pushers. This is a wonderful stunning minty condition genuine ORIS fully signed rare DARK BLUE dial. The dial is in beautiful original condition. And' 17 jewels' with the words'Swiss made' to the bottom of the dial. All of the applied white metal applied baton numerals are nice clear and sharp with no noticeable wear.

The inner rotating bezel ring shows no wear at all, works as it should and is in good age related condition. The dial has two fantastic contemporary design white painted steel hands which look to be in good condition and one is lacking lume at the tip.

The dial has FUNKY orange chrono hand which is in good condition too. The date window is excellent too. The crystal is plastic and shows some light wear (see photos).

This is a wonderful clean genuine ORIS. Good quality 17 jewel CAL 725 movement.

This movement was designed by. Dubios-Depraz and was only fitted into this model of watch.

It is fully signed (see pics), and is engraved with the wording ORIS WATCH CO 725 SWISS. This fantastic movement has recently been timed and oiled at great cost and is oiled, timed and is in good working order and is running well. I have timed it over 24 hours and it keeps. The 60 sec time hand snaps back as it should. All in all this is a beautiful original movement. This is an excellent nearly new blue genuine leather band. The watch and band measure 9 inches in total length and although it has been worn a couple of times it is in nice condition. This fabulous rare watch comes with its original BOX AND PAPERS on how to use the watch which is SUCH a rarity as most of these were lost. The box is in EXCELLENT condition showing only light wear and is still fully serviceable and useable. THIS IS A FANTASTIC AND ORIGINAL ORIS GENTS CHRONOORIS STAR WRISTWATCH IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION. I describe all of my items to the best of my knowledge.
