Vintage 1970s Swiss ELGIN Manual Wind Chunky UFO Steel Case Rare Gray Dial RUNS READ. This is a large watch for the era in which it was produced. Heavy stainless steel case and bracelet in great shape. Don't see dials in this gray color very often either. The watch winds, sets, and runs strong but SLOW.

IT WILL NEED TO BE SERVICED IN ORDER TO RUN ACCURATELY. If you want to wear it for a few hours to work or dinner, etc, the loss of time is not really noticeable. It starts to add up over a day or two though.

Inscribed on the caseback - "12-25-76 With Love, Susie". Comes on a NOS steel bracelet that will fit up to a 7.5 inch wrist. Photos taken on my 7.5 inch wrist for your reference.
