Rare Swiss Travel Desk Watch / Clock inside a Red Book for a pocket or purse. The red book with gilt inscription: "LIVRE D'HEURES". When you opened the book, the watch springs into position for viewing the hour and when closed, the watch disappears back into the book.

Serial Number : 1 7 3 6 8 9. Book 2 ¾ x 2 1/8 x. 9/16 inches (7 x 5.5 x 1.5 cm). Clock 1 3/8 inches x 1 inch (3.5 x 2.5 cm). Condition: Working, in very good running condition, but the glass cover has a hairline marked in picture with red color and the cover book has some waste, shown in pictures.
