Vintage WWII Alb. Grossenbacher Swiss Mechanical Trench Watch 1940s RARE Optima

This is an early 1940s Swiss Made World War II trench watch made by Albert Grossenbacher. Albert Grossenbacher was the watchmaker at Manufacture d'Horlogerie in Grenchen Switzerland who produced high-quality precision mechanical movements for OPTIMA in the 1920s and 1930s and movements and wristwatches for the US Army in the 1940s.

This watch is in its original case, with original hands, and no touch-up or repaint of the dial. Absolutely 100% original with brand new German acrylic crystal exactly like the original.

The watch is in good running condition and the case has been through an ultrasonic cleaner with a new gasket installed on the case back. This is a great piece of history ready to wear for another 85 years! Comes on a new brown leather strap.
